Adderbury Church (New drawing)

I realised that the right hand side of the original drawing/painting wasn't observed correctly so I went to the church today to redraw just the bits I needed. The corrected painting is shown below. On the second visit of the day I drew a whole new version of the church. This is it.

Farm house kitchen

This farm house kitchen and adjoining dining area is crammed full of interesting and colourful objects, paintings, patterned fabric and loads of utensils, pots and pans and crockery.

Coventry Cathedral drawing

I had quite a few attempts at drawing the Cathedral from the front. I wanted to include the Epstein sculpture. It wasn't working so I stopped trying. The ruins of the original Cathedral were much more appealing to me. I stood somewhere in the middle facing the modern entrance and drew what surrounded me.

After many many redraws and various colour versions I have finally finished it. The last bit that fell into place was the removing of the cluttered top left corner. The decision to include text came naturally when I was feeding one of the babies and staring at the poster on their bedroom wall.
